Inside Sales Associate – Filled

AVANT is recruiting for Direct Hire candidates for the Raleigh, NC location of an international telecom equipment company.

As part of this inside sales role, the selected candidate will be actively prospecting and developing new accounts, generating sales quotes, and handling customer inquiries via phone and email. In addition, they will make warm sales calls while becoming technically knowledgeable about telecom network equipment products and manufacturers. They will be highly engaged in business development.

  • Manage telephone and email sales inquiries about telecom equipment solutions offered, assisting customers with part number inquiries, 90% of customer interaction will be over the phone and email
  • Perform prospect calls covering a wide geographic range and diverse customer demographics
  • Follow-up on all leads forwarded from the sales channel partners
  • Plan follow-up calls and maintain all reporting and administrative functions in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Provide prompt and professional responses to product and pricing requests.
  • Represent the company in 3-5 industry trade shows per year
  • Research product availability and prepare sales estimates for products stocked in our warehouse and for products available at our partner vendors
  • Utilizing strong communication skills, educate customers about the company’s return and warranty policies.
  • The successful candidate will possess commercial and creative acumen to develop marketing and emailing/newsletters campaigns

The compensation package for this position will include a base salary and bonus program dependent on the candidate experience level.
