The selected candidates will serve as Executive Assistant providing comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Exercise independent judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters. Use advanced computer skills to create, modify and update presentations, write memos, plan conferences/meetings/company events, plan and prepare Board of Directors meeting materials. Assist with department budgeting, Employee Relief fund and fitness center reimbursements. Post organizational and policy changes to intranet. Requirements include:
Minimum 5 years’ administrative experience supporting senior level executives

Major Account Executive – Direct Hire! – Filled

A Durham based financial and benefits services company is looking for a Direct Hire, Major Account Executive to add to their growing team. The role of the Major Account Executive is to work with larger accounts to insure solid training of employee and employer benefit programs, and to grow the relationship with our client company.  A qualified person will have minimum of 5 years providing excellent service to large commerical accounts in life, long term, and disability insurance, organizational ability, and problem solving talents.  The person must have, or be able to obtain, NC licensing for insurance products.  The compensation package for the position depends on experience, and ranges from $40k to $60k, plus benefits and an annual bonus program.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage ongoing service with carriers for large group accounts (500 to 10,000 employees)

Assist Producer in managing accounts with Life, Disability, Dental, and Long Term Care

Assist with annual renewal process

Track member status changes

Assist members through claims

Process enrollments during open enrollment or for new hires

Resolve billing inquiries

Identify service problems, develop solutions and deliver solutions to the customer

General customer service requests

Evaluate and compare existing employee benefits with those of other employers by analyzing other plans, surveys, and other sources of information

Propose additional services where appropriate for clients

Maintain database for employee benefit files, service tracking, and record keeping

Prepare materials and present benefit plan changes to employees

Availability for occasional travel for client site visits
